Dr. Ponting is a Professor at San Diego State University. He has provided tourism consulting services in Australia, Indonesia, Fiji, Papua New Guinea and the United States including coastal resort developments in Indonesia and the South Pacific, the Fiji Tourism Masterplan 2007-2016, and the California Sustainable Tourism Handbook.
