Sustainable tourism consultant,
InterAmerican Development Bank (IDB)

Jorge De Vicente is a sustainable tourism consultant with the InterAmerican Development Bank (IDB) based in Washington, DC. He covers Mexico, Central America, and the Dominican Republic. Jorge has ample experience advising governments, the private sector and civil society, as well as facilitating multistakeholder dialogue. He has led the development of the IDB Sustainability Scorecard for Private Sector Tourism Projects launched in May 2009, including its dissemination in Mesoamerica and the Caribbean. Originally from Spain, Jorge holds a BA from Macalester Collage and an MA in International Affairs from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.
